CANADA FAMILY SPONSORSHIP
Spousal Sponsorship Program
You may be eligible to sponsor a spouse or a common-law or conjugal partner or dependent children living outside of Canada if:
- The person you want to sponsor is a member of the family class.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- You reside in Canada.
Parents Sponsorship
Under this program, Canadians & Permanent Citizens can join with their Parents & Grand parents. It is recommended to contact an Immigration lawyer or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant well-versed in Immigration Law to apply under this time-sensitive program.
Requirements to be A Sponsor:
- Sponsor should be a Permanent Resident or Canadian citizenship.
- Aged 18 years or more.
- Sponsor should be meet sponsorship Canada income requirements: must be above the minimum threshold for this program (for married or common-law relationships, both spouses income is included) for last three years.
- This is the income requirement applicable to all Canadian residents and citizens except those in the province of Quebec. The sponsor and the co-signer are required to meet the minimum necessary income for the last three successive years. The basis for this income is the low income cut off (LICO) plus 30%.
